Other Popular Pubs and Bars

The three pubs above are just lucky to have made it to this list. With hundreds of bars and pubs within the UK, it takes a lot to make it into such a short list. The list could have been different had other criteria been used, but there is no doubting the greatness of these pubs. That said, there are many more great pubs which deserve at least a mention in this review.

The Tickell Arms

This is not a surprise, really. The only surprise is that the bar in Whittlesford, a few minutes away from Cambridge is probably that it did not get an article of its own. It has everything from appearance to service, done in a top-deck manner. It might not be new to many lovers of the party scene; neither has it lost any of its golden touches.

The Clifton

This London house is the real blend of a pub and a bar. It has been in existence since the 19th century, and everyone was disappointed to see it close doors in 2013. So sad was the populace, that two Robson brothers, Ben and Ed, saw it necessary to re-open it.

The Clifton is well famed for its excellent beers; some amazing locally brewed crafts.

Butcher’s Tap, Buckinghamshire

This relatively new outlet is doing everything right. The proprietor, Tom Kerridge, has taken up the opportunity to salvage the declining pub and butchery culture with this one. And it does not disappoint on both ends.

Despite only having set up shop in 2017, the pub in Marlow, Buckinghamshire, is providing everything the traditional outfits had to offer, then some more. There is undoubtedly no way anyone can go wrong with The Tap.

The above outlets wholeheartedly espouse the pub and bar culture in the UK while at the same time offering great value. Be sure to check them out!
